Anyone want to ride it in? Kowabunga!

Hawaii is bracing for a major category 4 hurricane that looks to pass just off the west coast of the Hawaii islands. With sustained winds of over 130 miles an hour, and nearly 30 inches of rain expected in some areas, the citizens of Hawaii are taking this storm very seriously.

The storm is tracking just west of the islands pushing the strongest tidal surge of the hurricane against the islands.

Right now, the beaches are calm and it’s still early in the morning, but things are going to get worse as the day progresses.

The next two days are going to be rough for Hawaiians, but luckily it doesn’t look like the eye is going to pass over any of the islands.

During hurricanes, one of the best ways to see what is going on, is to watch live YouTube videos. Go here to find different live options.

Many people and businesses will broadcast throughout the day, and share their view of the storm. Here are a few options.

Here is one with multiple cameras on one screen.

As Hurricane Lane approaches, our thoughts are with the people of Hawaii and hope everyone is safe.
