Liberals have constantly said that wealthy corporations should do more to help the American people.
Now that one Christian, pro-Trump CEO is stepping up to the plate? The left is still angry.
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced that he’s converting the vast majority of his factory space into a facility that can produce tens of thousands of face masks for healthcare workers every day–an item in severe short-supply right now.
After asking President Trump if he could say something “off the cuff,” Lindell told Americans: “I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the Word, read our Bibles and spend time with our families.”
“Our president gave us so much hope. Where just a few short months ago, we had the best economy, the lowest unemployment, and wages going up, it was amazing,” he continued. “With our great president, vice president and this administration and all the great people in this country praying daily, we will get through this and get back to a place that’s stronger and safer than ever.”
After announcing his incredible generosity at a press conference with President Trump, the left responded with mockery and downright nastiness.
MSNBC’s Ali Velshi took to Twitter to make fun of Lindell’s company: “Trump just called the ‘My Pillow’ guy up to the podium in the Rose Garden. You cannot make this stuff up.”
Meanwhile, Comedy Central’s Samantha Bee tweeted, “My Pillow is now making highly absorbent pillows so you can cry yourself to sleep after watching the press conference.”
The Atlantic’s Norman Ornstein tweeted: “Fact: Mike Lindell is an awful human being. An utter embarrassment to my home state of Minnesota.”
MSNBC’s Joy Reid mocked: “So my Tiger King binge was interrupted by a text saying the CEO of MyPillow is now part of the presidential briefings on COVID19 … please tell me this is a prank.”
The next time the left asks why good people aren’t stepping up to help their fellow Americans? Maybe this is why.
