Hillary Clinton’s not quite as “Woke” as the rest of the Democratic Party… as evidenced by an uncomfortable, racist joke she made during an interview
While being interviewed on Friday night by Recode’s Kara Swisher, the topic turned to political correctness. Clinton was asked by a quote from former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
Swisher, however, incorrectly attributed it to Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), who is also a black man.
“I know they all look alike,” joked Clinton.
“No, they don’t,” Swisher quickly asserted. After an uncomfortable pause, where Swisher realized the former Secretary of State was making a joke, she added, “Oh, well done.”
Clinton’s joke was an innocent enough quip—but that didn’t stop the left from eviscerating her on social media after the clip from the interview went viral late on Monday night.
Clinton has not yet addressed the controversy publicly.
