Biden Goes Hard-Left in Democratic Debate

Former Vice President Joe Biden sounded more like Bernie Sanders than a so-called “moderate,” in Sunday night’s Democratic debate.

Biden took every opportunity to voice far-left positions that would have been unthinkable, even in a Democratic primary, just a few years ago.

First, Biden said he would stop all oil drilling, ban fracking, and prohibit new coal plants. That would kill thousands of jobs across the country–and make the United States dependent on foreign energy once again.

It was the first time Biden called for a complete ban on all oil drilling.

Biden also vowed to spend trillions on an environmental policy, akin to the Green New Deal–vowing to take “millions of automobiles off the road.”

Most shockingly, Biden also said that he supported sanctuary cities–and that he would not remove one single criminal illegal immigrant for his first 100 days in office, effectively throwing open the U.S. border.

Despite Biden parroting far-left talking points, the debate was at times contentious. During one exchange, Sanders smacked Biden repeatedly over Biden’s attempts to cut social security and Medicare, which Biden denied.
