Janet Yellen had some worrisome words on Monday as she spoke to the declining world economic situation.
“We’ve experienced energy shocks, food shocks, supply shocks, persistent inflation in many countries around the world, rising interests rates in many parts of the world and we have seen some financial market volatility and rising liquidity and credit concerns,”
Despite saying that there is a lot of volatility and concerns, she also said that the American economy is “healthy”.

The Treasury Secretary sat down with MSNBC, and spoke about the economy and how Yellen believes that inflation will be under control in a few years.
