President Trump’s approval has been soaring, thanks to his strong response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls, Trump now commands a 47 percent approval rating–the highest he’s ever had.
Trump’s previous record–which he held in February 2017, just two weeks after his inauguration–was 46 percent.
What’s more, Trump’s disapproval numbers have collapsed as well–registering 49.5 percent disapproval. That’s the lowest they’ve been since February 2017.
The strong showing comes from more than just one poll: the most recent polls all show President Trump in the upper-40s or even breaching 50 percent approval rating.
Trump’s skyrocketing approval comes on the backs of strong praise for his handling of the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to a new Gallup poll earlier this week, a whopping 60 percent of Americans approve of the work he’s done to combat the crisis.
