Troops Heading Back Into Afghanistan

3,000 Marines are heading back into Afghanistan, just as we are in the middle of pulling out after America’s longest war.

The troops are not going to stop the quickly moving Taliban from taking over more land in the area, but they are going in as a rescue mission.

The Embassy in Kabul needs to be evacuated and the troops are going in to rescue American staff and their families.

President Biden made the decision to pull out in April, and since then the Taliban have gained a lot of ground.

At least 10 provinces are under their control and it is obvious that they are moving into the capitol.

Just Thursday night the news broke that the nation’s 2nd largest city, Kandahar, fell to Taliban control.

The U.K. is sending in troops to evacuate their embassy as well.

To make matters worse, China has already said they will recognize the Taliban government.

Israel, our biggest ally in the region has to be concerned.

The instability the fall of Afghanistan will bring, will be a threat to many of our allies in the region and across the globe.
