A group of far-left protesters went after Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and his wife in a Washington, DC, restaurant on Monday night—apparently, over the sexual assault allegations levied on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Two clips were uploaded to Facebook by the group “Smash Racism DC.”
BREAKING. Activists just chased @TedCruz out of a fancy Washington DC restaurant, chanting “We Believe Survivors!”
Cruz has been friends with creep Kavanaugh for 20 years. Now Cruz is on judiciary committee hearing his testimony.

In the first video clip, a group of protesters approach the Cruzes table, shouting, “We believe survivors!”
“Hi, I’d love to talk to you about Brett Kavanaugh tonight. I’m a constituent, love to know what your vote is gonna be tonight. I know that you’re very close friends with Mr. Kavanaugh,” says a woman, from off camera. “Do you believe survivors?”
When Cruz ignores her, she adds, “Senator, I have a right to know what your position is on Brett Kavanaugh.”
“God bless you, ma’am,” Cruz tells her, as the crowd continues to shout.
“Bless you as well, I really appreciate you,” the woman replies. “I’m a survivor of sexual assault. I believe all survivors. There are now three people who have come forward and who have said that Brett Kavanaugh has attacked them. I know that you’re close friends with him. Could you talk to him about that? Could you talk to him about his position?”
Sen. and Mrs. Cruz then get up from the table, as the woman continues to badger them: “How are you gonna vote, sir?”
The second video shows Cruz continuing to get heckled, as he and his wife struggle to leave the restaurant.
