State Department Doling out Cash for Gender Equality in India

The U.S. State Department operating under the Biden Administration is offering up to $90,000 to train established musicians in India who “can spread the message in a compelling way of the importance of gender equality.”

So yeah, U.S. taxpayers are footing the bill to influence culture in India to promote gender equality.

The grant will bring Indian influencers together in a four-week music residency program.

Another recent grant offered by the U.S Mission to India offered only $80,000 to bring together forty entrepreneurs over three days to “realize the full potential of the space technology sector.”

It appears the State Department cares more about creating Indian folk music to promote gender equality than it does creating alliances to promote a rapidly progressing space game.
