Salman Rushdie Attacked On Stage

Author Salman Rushdie was attacked on stage during a lecture in New York.

A man reportedly jumped on staged and stabbed the author during a lecture series at The Chautauqua Institution.

Members of the audience jumped on stage to try and help the author by lifting his legs.

The 75-year-old author of “The Satanic Verses” has been an enemy of Iran since the book was banned in the 80’s.

Iran has a bounty of over $3 million for the death of Rushdie.

There are no reports on the condition of Rushdie at the time of publication.
