Michelle Obama has a new book coming out and is renting out NBA arenas to promote it.
The “Becoming” book tour is going to be huge. The former first lady is planning a tour starting this November that will stop at 10 major cities. She isn’t going to any bookstores though.
Live Nation and Crown Publishing Group have announced that they are partnering up for 10 Obama book shows at large venues. Very large venues!
Michelle Obama opens her rock-star tour in her hometown of Chicago at the United Center. The same place the Chicago Bulls play. She will continue her tour at some of the largest venues in the nation.
Here is the complete “Becoming” tour schedule.

Michelle and Barack penned a multimillion-dollar deal with Crown publishing for their memoirs and Michelle’s is the first one ready. There is no official release of the book yet, but Yahoo is reporting that they are expecting it in 2019.
The real question is, will she need all that space? Are there enough people that will go to these arenas and support the former first lady’s new book?
