A favorite liberal talking point is “no pro-choice person is pro-abortion.”
So much for that.
Netflix, in conjunction with alleged comedian Michelle Wolf, launched a new “Salute to Abortion” on Sunday. The strange segment aired as part of Wolf’s Netflix talk show, “The Break.”
The bizarre scene features Wolf dressed in American flag leotard, leading a marching band playing “You’re A Grand Old Flag” under a red, white, and blue balloon arch with the banner, “The Break’s 10th Annual Salute to Abortion.”
“Abortion, I salute you,” cheered Wolf.
“Women, if you need an abortion, get one!” Wolf chanted. “If you want an abortion, get one!“
“It doesn’t have to be a big deal,” she continued. “It’s actually a great deal! It’s about $300, which is about six movie tickets!”
“Women, don’t forget, you have the power to give life and men will try to control that,” Wolf added. “Don’t let them.”
Wolf finished by screaming: “God bless abortions, and God bless America!”
Wolf first came to national notoriety as the keynote speaker during the White House Correspondent’s Dinner earlier this year, where she attracted bipartisan outrage for sexist comments lobbed at White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, along with a number of off-color jokes that shocked even the reliably liberal audience.
“The Break” on Netflix currently releases shows every Sunday.
