Limbaugh Responds To Hurricane Broadcast Critics

Hurricane News
You can always count on the media to twist your words - if you are a Republican, that is...

On Monday, conservative radio host, Rush Limbaugh took time to address the media’s “lies and misstatements” made over his view on the panic that erupted due to Hurricane Irma.

Last week, the liberal media attacked Limbaugh for arguing that Hurricane Irma is being used as an excuse by climate alarmists to push forth their radical green agenda. “The reason that I am leery of forecasts this far out, folks, is because I see how the system works,” Limbaugh stated. “There haven’t been more hurricanes and they’re no more dangerous than any others in previous years,” he claimed.

“There is a desire to advance this climate change agenda, and hurricanes are one of the fastest and best ways to do it,” Limbaugh noted, remarking about how the media pumps up the public with fear every single hurricane season. He argued that the liberal media’s aim is to, “accomplish a lot just by creating fear and panic,” over routine – if destructive- storms.

“You don’t need a hurricane to hit anywhere. All you need is to create the fear and panic accompanied by talk that climate change is causing hurricanes to become more frequent and bigger and more dangerous, and you create the panic, and it’s mission accomplished, agenda advanced.”

While the radio host claims that his intentions were simply not to feed the media panic, the media took his words and twisted them. “This is all over the place that I told people there’s no storm, that I told people you don’t have to run away from Florida, you don’t have to evacuate because I said the storm wasn’t coming.” However Limbaugh claims that, “I specifically didn’t join the idea that global warming or climate change was causing this.”

Limbaugh said. He argued that the minute you start to think beyond the typical “groupthink” all those with a different view will “come after you and try to destroy your credibility.”

“You’re not supposed to give people an alternative way of looking at something outside the groupthink,” he said. “If you do, they’re gonna come after you and try to destroy your credibility and smear you, because they have an agenda that they seek to advance using every public event they can,” Limbaugh lamented.
