Hillary Fundraises Off Border “Crisis”

Hillary Clinton
"How can I make money off of a national controversy, hmmmm...."

As President Trump faces outrage from some corners over children being separated from their illegal immigrant parents, at least one Democrat is determined to make a quick buck off the “humanitarian crisis.”

Yes, it’s Hillary Clinton.

In a email to supporters of her political action organization Onward Together, Clinton demanded money so she could take vaguely unspecified action to, apparently, fix the problem.

Clinton wrote, “What’s happening to families at the border right now is horrific: Nursing infants ripped away from their mothers. Parents told their toddlers are being taken to bathe or play, only to realize hours later that they aren’t coming back. Children incarcerated in warehouses and, according to more than one account, kept in cages. This is a moral and humanitarian crisis. Everyone of us who has ever held a child in their arms, and every human being with a sense of compassion and decency should be outraged.

“Even as I warned this could happen on the campaign trail — that Trump’s immigration policies would result in families being separated, parents being sent away from their children, people rounded up on trains and buses — I hoped it would never come to be. But now, as we watch with broken hearts, that’s exactly what’s happening.

“We can be heartbroken, but we shouldn’t be hopeless. There’s something you can do to help.”

That “something” turns out to be donating to Onward Together–which, in turn, would pass the money on to other organizations that could actually take action something, like the ACLU and groups like “Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project.”

Clinton doesn’t specify why people should first give to Onward Together, rather than just giving to the “partner groups” themselves–but, based on Clinton’s track record of getting rich of the Clinton Foundation, it’s clear that she might be up to her old tricks.
