Late last week, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service took to Facebook to inform the public on the “situation” in Malheur National Wildlife Refuge where protesters have taken over the federal park to draw attention the overreach of government authority.

The comments by over 551 members of the public were generally in support of the government department.
To no surprise, a cross check of the commenters in support of the federal government are largely supporters of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party.
An overwhelming majority of the commenters called for the government to deal with the “outlaws” and “terrorists” who have occupied the national park.
Tanya Owens commented, “Doesn’t feel like a protest to me, feels like a terrorist attack. Public lands are not for ranchers to graze their domestic animals, it is for the wildlife to live peacefully and for the public to visit and respect the wildlife living there.”
Jul Tessmer ridiculed, “I am glad you all are safe! Now those hoodlums, shame on them! They need to grow up and get a life! It is going to take a lot of their own monies to get a, get out of jail pass! But a waste of our the tax payers time and monies! Bet they are stinky in there!”
Vernon Callie speculated, “These ranchers as they call themselves do not care a flip for the constitution all they want is to be able squander public land for their profit with no concern for the land itself or the animals that live there!”
Those who support the protesters were few and far between, however on non-government influenced social media, support for the group is growing with the Twitter hashtag #standwithammon growing in popularity.
