China has reportedly added some new sanctions to the U.S. since the recent trip by Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan.
The new sanctions come a day after China tested missiles close to Taiwan.
Some of the new sanctions include the ending of some communications with America. Included are high level military phone calls and talks about climate change.
The sanctions come as our relationship with China is becoming increasingly strained. Taiwan, and American ally, is being threatened by China with the threat of invasion.
If they invade, will America come to help?
That is the big question, and possibly a reason behind some of the sanctions. To get America to back off from the military actions China takes in the South China sea.
