The Delta variant of COVID-19 is hitting Los Angeles County hard, and it is shocking how many people that have the vaccine are still getting sick.
The Public Health Director for the county announced that cases have risen sharply and especially for those that are vaccinated.
The vaccinated are getting sick at a slower rate than the unvaccinated, but still an alarming number.
Of the three different vaccines, the least effective in LA County looks to be the Johnson & Johnson one. About twice as many people that took the Johnson & Johnson got sick than the Pfizer shot.
The best performing one so far ha been the Moderna one.
To improve the vaccinations, it looks like there is a third shot coming soon.
