Thursday night was like any other New York City night until many residents were startled by a strange blue glow and a fear of aliens.
A spooky blue glow enveloped the dark sky over New York after a massive explosion at a power facility in Queens.
The explosion knocked out power to local residents and even closed down La Guardia airport. People near the explosion and all over the five boroughs took to Twitter to see what happened. Many wanted to know if aliens were invading.
