Porn star Stormy Daniels sued President Trump for defamation… but now, a court has ruled that she’s the one who owes him money.
Judge S. James Otero threw out her arguably flimsy defamation case, and also ordered Daniels to pay Trump’s legal fees—which, considering the deep pockets of the billionaire President, could be hefty.
Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, quickly attempted damage control—claiming that the suit wasn’t as clear cut as it might have seemed.
But Trump’s attorney Charles Harder clapped back—praising the decision and slamming both Daniels and Avenatti issuing a statement saying, “No amount of spin or commentary by Stormy Daniels or her lawyer, Mr. Avenatti, can truthfully characterize today’s ruling in any way other than a total victory for President Trump and a total defeat for Stormy Daniels.”
“Federal Judge throws out Stormy Danials lawsuit versus Trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees.” @FoxNews Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!

The defamation suit came after Daniels publicized a criminal sketch of a man she claimed intimidated her on behalf of Trump—though she immediately mocked for it closely resembling her ex-husband.
Trump responded by calling Daniels’ claims a “con job”—which Daniels claimed was defamation. Judge Otero clearly didn’t agree.
Despite Trump’s big win, this won’t be the last time Trump and Daniels face off in court: there’s still a lawsuit over whether or not Daniels’ non-disclosure agreement was legally valid.
