Former Trump campaign aide, Michael Caputo went on CNN to add his thoughts to the mystery behind the New York Times op-ed that revealed a saboteur inside the White House.
Caputo discussed the op-ed and how the White House is trying to figure out who authored the damning piece. He thinks he knows who the person is. In fact, he’s pretty confident.
Watch the interview below.
So here are the three main items that we learned about the person Caputo thinks wrote the op-ed.
• The person is diabolical
• The person has already denied it
• The person is a female
He doesn’t come out and say who the person is, but at the end of the interview Caputo makes it clear that he thinks the author is a woman.
There is a long list of people who have denied writing the op-ed when probed by reporters. CNN has formed a list of deniers here.
The former campaign aide is pretty confident, but he lawyer says he shouldn’t say whom he has pegged as the author. So the mystery continues.
Everyone is claiming to know who the unnamed author is, and they all might be totally wrong. It could be an elaborate hoax.
The one thing we can take away from the Michael Caputo interview is that whoever wrote this is attempting to sabotage the White House and that should not be allowed by any party.
