Hillary Clinton is back in politics… hosting a series of fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee.
The failed 2016 Democratic nominee will headline three “intimate dinners with discussion” in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, with an eye on raising money for candidates in the 2018 election.
In addition, sources say that Clinton also plans to host other fundraisers to support female candidates running for Congress.
The DNC will need all the help it can get: despite predictions of a “blue wave” this November, the DNC has raised barely half of what its Republican counterpart has.
For the 2018 cycle, the DNC raised $110 million–compared to a mammoth $213 million raised by the RNC.
