Gen. McMaster Out As National Security Advisor?

Gen McMaster
*That face you make when your boss tells you to train your replacement*

After months of speculation about his future in the Administration, the Washington Post suddenly reported that President Trump has decided to remove General H.R. McMaster as his National Security Advisor. McMaster was seen as a problematic advisor by many conservatives for his pro-muslim stances, and perceived weakness on terrorism.

The Washington Post reported that now, the challenge facing Trump is to choose a suitable replacement for the vitally important position. Because there is no way this position can go unfilled for even an instant, Trump is allegedly looking for the perfect candidate to fill the role, with a seamless transition.

Pushing back on the report, the White House Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that ‘there are no changes’ to the National Security Council.

“Just spoke to @POTUS and Gen. H.R. McMaster – contrary to reports they have a good working relationship and there are no changes at the NSC,” she tweeted.

President Trump chastised and contravened his national security adviser after McMaster said that there was “incontrovertible” evidence that foreign influence affected the 2016 presidental election.

“General McMaster forgot to say that the results of the 2016 election were not impacted or changed by the Russians and that the only Collusion was between Russia and Crooked H, the DNC and the Dems,” Trump tweeted in response.

Gen. H.R. McMaster’s looming departure has been cited by almost five sources, according to Thursday’s report, two days after Trump tweeted that he will be ousting Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

President Donald Trump tapped the Director of CIA Mike Pompeo that he should replace the top diplomat of the nation, alongside nominating CIA Deputy Director Gina Haspel to lead and run the agency.

Removing the security adviser, McMaster would put the President Donald Trump in such a position that he will have to select his security adviser for an unprecedented third time since taking office.

The previous security adviser, Micheal Flynn was fired because he has misled the officials of White House about his contacts with the Russians.
