Donald Trump Jr.–the oldest son of President Trump–is earning huge praise… after offering to walk a woman he doesn’t even know down the aisle at her wedding.
The strange situation comes after Texas woman Tracy Boettcher posted a video on social media site TikTok, explaining that her liberal parents refused to come to her wedding… because her fiance is conservative.
“So my parents hate my fiance because he’s a conservative and they’re liberal,” she explained, in the 40 second video. “They refuse to go to our wedding and they gave me an ultimatum of choosing between him or them.”
“So I chose myself and I chose what would make me happiest in the long run,” she added. “And my mother told me I was incapable of being loved or being in a relationship because I was assaulted when I was 17.”
“I chose my fiance,” she continued, “and I will be walking myself down the aisle in December. So if anyone has a dad who would like to walk me down the aisle, let me know.”
The video was spread on Twitter by civil rights attorney Rogan O’Handley to his 90,000 followers. O’Handley added the caption: share “if you think it should be a Trump doing the honors!!”
That attracted the attention of Donald Trump Jr.–who apparently thought that was a good idea.
“Really sad and touching at the same time. Good for her for standing up to the nonsense,” the First Son tweeted.
He also gave her an offer that would be hard for her to turn down, adding: “P.S. If she doesn’t find someone better, count me in. I’ll walk her down the aisle. [Let me know.]”
