On Sunday, Senator Claire McCaskill (Democrat – Missouri) stated in an interview, the previous Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton should be more cautious in how she refers to President Trump’s voters.
“For those of us that are in states that Trump won we would really appreciate if she would be more careful and show respect to every American voter and not just the ones who voted for her” – Claire McCaskill about Hillary Clinton.
“I understand the point she was trying to make, but it felt like she was criticizing Missouri voters,” McCaskill said.
“I might draw a line there. I’ve nice respect for Missouri voters, and there have been loads the explanation why they voted for Donald Trump, a few of them I perceive,” she said.
In the presidential elections held in 2016, Donald Trump won in Missouri, McCaskill’s home state.
Upon the recent address given in India, Hillary Clinton garnered backlash and criticism when she defined the areas that elected for Trump.

It seemed that after Hillary Clinton’s controversial comments, McCaskill distanced herself from supporting Hillary Clinton.
