Leave it to the king of corporate snark, Burger King, to take cheap shots at President Trump in attempt to flame broil him in front of their 1.7 million Twitter followers.

In case you just woke from a coma, Burger King is referring to Trump’s since removed tweet about serving “hamberders” to the Clemson Tigers.

Here’s the new, typo-free tweet:

While Burger King is just trying to get a little social media play with the post, the world is aware that Trump doesn’t touch Burger King, as McDonalds is his go-to fast food joint – with an occasional taco bowl from Taco Bell on Cinco de Mayo.

The King may be a tad jealous of Trump’s loyalty to Mc D’s.

While Burger King started as all American Insta-Burger King in Jacksonville, Florida. The chain has switched hands numerous times and has been owned by foreign entities since 2010.

Burger King is owned by Canadian parent company, Restaurant Brands International. The majority shareholder in RBI is Brazilian firm 3G Capital.

McDonalds, on the other hand is all-American owned since its inception with Maurice and Richard McDonald with revenue’s that exceed $22 billion a year. McDonalds is also the world’s second largest employer with 1.9 million people around the globe being employed by either McDonald’s corporate or a franchise. McDonalds directly employs 235,000 workers.

Burger King on the other hand has annual revenues of $4 billion while directly employing 34,248.
