Looks like President Trump was right: the “caravan” of illegal immigrants from Central America does contain at least one brutal criminal.
U.S. Border Patrol agents have arrested a member of the brutal Salvadoran gang, MS-13–who had, apparently, joined the illegal immigrant caravan in hopes that he could make it into the United States.
Jose Villalobos-Jobel, 29, was arrested by agents at the Calexico Port of Entry in Southern California.
During questioning, VIllalobos-Jobel admitted he was an active member of MS-13 and had infiltrated the caravan.
He is currently awaiting deportation to Honduras.
Villalobos-Jobel’s arrest comes just months after another MS-13 member was arrested as part of an illegal immigrant caravan, back in April.
President Trump has made breaking up MS-13 and combating illegal immigration two of his signature policies as President.
