Study Claims That One Political Party Looks Better Than The Other

The Journal of Public Economics published a report that states a politicians looks can correlate with their policies and politics.

Also found in the study is that politicians on the right are better looking than their counterparts on the left. At least this is true in Europe, United States and Australia according to the Journal of Public Economics.

It has been proven in the past that looks can affect how much money people make with their salary and even having softer prison sentences than uglier criminals guilty of the same crime.

One thing the study shows is a correlation between being better looking and on the right, but does not indicate causation. People don’t pick political right politics because they are handsome; the study shows that more handsome people end up being on the right than left.

When looking at other studies that state more attractive people make more money, then it is understandable why they would be attracted to the political policies that lets them keep more of their money.

The left has been pushing more welfare and wealth redistributive ideas while the right seems to be fighting for lower taxes and less government.

There may also be a correlation with the amount of people in poverty that support the left over the right. Impoverished people don’t always have the ability to keep themselves looking healthy and in shape to be considered a good-looking person.

There are a lot of factors as to why this could be the case, but according to the study, the right is more attractive than the left.

At the end of the day this study doesn’t really provide a lot of insight on how to accomplish anything, but it looks good on the surface.

Do you think the right is better looking than the left? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
