Pelosi Compares This Policy To Japanese Internment Camps

Wait, didn’t FDR – a Democrat – do that horribly racist internment camp thing? You bet ya!

House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, in an interview on Tuesday, compared the state of illegal aliens, to the plight of Japanese Americans during World War II, when the U.S. government interned everyone of Japanese origin in camps.

“And now they’re coming for the DREAMers,” she hysterically wailed in a Tuesday interview, discussing those illegal aliens who had received amnesty under the DACA (Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals) program. Pelosi continued, “It’s an honor to be here with the DREAMers,” she said, “the DREAMers, who are perpetuating, advancing the American dream with their courage and their optimism and their inspiration, they make America more American.”

Pelosi then started talking history, recalling an exhibit she had recently seen on Japanese American internment during WWII. Attempting to draw parallels between the internment of Japanese Americans and the defense of the nation’s borders against dangerous illegal aliens, and non-citizens. She explained, “[I]t’s about the internment of the Japanese American patriots in our country who were interned into camps during World War 2 while their family members were fighting for freedom for America and for the world in World War II, they were in camps,” she said.

And They Came For Me,” she said, referring to the name of the historical exhibition, “and now they’re coming for the DREAMers!” She added, “We owe these DREAMers for their patriotism, for their courage, their optimism to come forward. But it’s about America too. The fight is for who we are as a country too. They are the manifestation of that fight right now. But we cannot let them come for them.”

“So while the President thinks that giving 6 months for Congress to act, we want to do it sooner we want to do it in six weeks,” she revealed, talking about President Donald Trump’s plan to end DACA, pending Congressional action. A few Republicans have also pledged support Pelosi’s amnesty before the 6 month deadline given by Trump expires.

It’s important to note that DACA was an executive amnesty order issued by President Obama in 2012. The unconstitutional order came after Congress failed to approve of a broad and sweeping amnesty bill that Obama and the democrats were desperately pushing for.

While the DREAM Act was somewhat similar to DACA, the DREAM Act was actually a piece of legislation that would have modified the status of illegal aliens – granting them amnesty.

“So thank you DREAMers for being stronger than anybody,” she concluded, “and for actually taking some risks for your families to keep America a country we take pride in being. Thank you for your patriotism.”

How do you think the media would react if a top Republican openly encouraged non-citizens and foreigners to engage in blatantly illegal and unlawful behavior? This is exactly what Pelosi is doing – will she be held to account?
