A Utah mom is being praised for chasing down a man she caught peeping on her 12-year-old daughter.

Doris Stiles-Scown was shopping at a store at a Salt Lake City mall with her daughter, when she apparently saw a man holding his cell phone underneath the girl’s dressing room.

Stiles-Scown went full mama bear mode—confronting the man and, when he tried to escape, chasing him into the parking lot.

With the help of other shoppers and the mall’s security team, Stiles-Scown apprehended the suspect: 36-year-old Jorge Leon.

A group of shoppers then surrounded Leon, to make sure he couldn’t get away while they waited for police on the scene.

While they were waiting, Stiles-Scown took a video of her own: warning others that the man was a sexual predator.

“This right here is what a predator looks like,” Stiles-Scown said on the video, zooming onto Leon’s face. “Thankfully, I got him. Not today, buddy. Not today.”

“I’m going to make sure your face gets out so that you’re not in any more stalls, looking under little girls’ dressing [rooms]. I’m going to make sure you go viral. You’re a sick pervert,” Stiles-Scown added to Leon.

“You’re so lucky that I don’t hurt you because that’s what I want to do right now,” she continued. “Because what you did to her… you’re going to leave a scar on my daughter permanently. Are you happy with yourself?”

Turning the camera to herself, Stiles-Scown added, “Not today. He didn’t get away from this mom!”

Stiles-Scown’s video has received more than 14 million views on Facebook—and her quick-thinking has landed her daughter’s peeping tom in police custody: Leon has been booked on voyeurism charges.
