White House Immediately Calls for Gun Control after Indianapolis Shooting

Before any real details were released regarding the shooting this morning in Indianapolis, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters, “There is more we can do and must do” and reminded the press pool of the recent executive actions on gun control.

Note that President Biden has issued no actual executive orders on gun control.

He has asked agencies to crackdown on “ghost guns” and pistol braces along with calling to extend the processing time for the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).

Psaki then went full political by pressing the Senate to confirm their nominee for ATF Director, David Chipman.

Chipman was a key official in 1994 during the Waco Massacre.  Chipman even posed for “victory photos” on the burnt compound where 76 men, women and children were killed or burned alive by Federal agents.

Vice President Kamala Harris was also quick to address the press within minutes of the shooting saying, “This violence must end.”

In other recent shootings, the media ran with false narratives that were echoed by politicians.

Specifically, they claimed the Atlanta shooter was motivated by hatred of Asians, however, the shooter, Robert Aaron Long, was motivated by his sex addiction and had previously been a customer at the Asian massage parlors where he took the lives of eight people.

By linking gun violence to racism, the media and Democrats was able to quell dissent to their actions to limit Second Amendment Rights.
