FCC Shuts Down Alex Jones’ Radio Station

Was this whole thing government coordinated? This mass- deplatforming is too suspicious...

Conservative provocateur Alex Jones has been kicked off of most major social media outlets–but now, the federal government is shutting down his radio station.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has such down Jones’s flagship radio station, Liberty Radio–and fined the station $15,000.

Unlike the social media outlets that kicked Jones off their platform, the FCC’s action doesn’t appear to be motivated by his political beliefs: apparently, Liberty Radio has functioned without a license since at least 2013 and was illegally transmitting out of an Austin, Texas, apartment complex.

Liberty Radio stopped airing radio in December, but still streams its feeds online.

Walter Olenick and M. Rae Nadler-Olenick were named as defendants in the lawsuit.

They, however, went on the record saying they would not pay the fine and would treat anyone from the FCC coming onto their property as trespassers. Jones himself was not named in the lawsuit.
