Vladimir Putin talked to the world yesterday, because the war isn’t quite going as well as he planned.
Angela Stent, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and author of the book “Putin’s World,” went on MSNBC to discuss the recent speech.
Her insight shows that Putin feels cornered.
People in Russia are hurting and Putin is having to battle a rise opposition to war in his own country. He even went as far as saying that there were traitors at home and the country needs to go through a period of “self purification.”
A cornered Putin is a dangerous person, especially for the Russian people.
