Donald Trump can be criticized for his tweets, his rants and attacking the media, but when it comes to jobs, everything should be all praise.
October’s numbers are coming out and employment in America is at an all-time high. There are over 156 million people employed in the United States. That is a new record.
In the month of October, The U.S. added over 250,000 new jobs. The quarter of a million new jobs came in well above expectations. Wall Street was estimating around 190,000.
Trump is helping bring new jobs to the table and boosting old industries. In the month of October, there were 32,000 manufacturing jobs filled. Over 434,000 manufacturing jobs have been created under Trump.
Hispanic unemployment also hit a record low in October thanks to the rising economy.
With the midterms coming up in just a couple of days, numbers like these are going to help Trump and the Republicans. If it wasn’t for Trump’s handling of the economy and jobs reports like these, it is very unlikely that Trump’s approval rating wouldn’t be at 51%.
Now that so much of Trump’s success is tied to the economy, the challenge for the president is to keep the things rolling in the right direction.
