Transgender Customer Threatens GameStop Employee Over “Misgendering”

Mind the pronouns!

An irate transgender customer went ballistic on an employee at an Albuquerque, New Mexico, GameStop… after being called “sir.”

The interaction, which was caught on tape by another customer named Tom Smith and swiftly posted on Facebook, quickly went viral. The transgender customer has not been identified publicly.

The video shows the biologically-male transgender women screaming at a male GameStop clerk, apparently over a dispute involving a refund.

“I don’t want [store] credit,” the transgender customer yells. “You’re going to give me my f***ing money back!”

A female customer, who doesn’t appear in view of the camera, apparently took offense with the obscenities, saying, “Excuse me, sir, there’s a young man in here. You need to watch your mouth.”

The transgender customer then becomes instantly airate, screaming, “Excuse me–it is ma’am! It is ma’am!”

The off-screen female customer, who remains calm, apologizes but asks the transgender customer to “settle down.”

The angry transgender customer then gets in the woman’s face, screaming: “You need to settle down! You need to settle down and mind your business!” The transgender customer then turns on the clerk again, saying: “Ma’am! Once again: ma’am!”

The employee tries to explain that he never called the customer “sir,” but the customer continues to scream.

“No, you said, ‘sir’; once again, it’s ma’am!” the trans customer yells. “Mother f***er! Take it outside! You wanna call me ‘sir’ again? I will show you a f***ing sir!”

The customer then begins to storm out of the store, kicking down products, before turning back around and demanding the “corporate number” to complain about the “misgendering.”

The employee asks the customer to calm down and says he’ll provide the number, but the customer finally storms out.
