Obama’s Foreign Policy Mistakes Strike Close To Home

Foreign Policy

Liberals everywhere screamed and cheered when President Obama landed in Cuba to build a new friendly relationship. Even after the Belgium attacks, Obama enjoyed a baseball game in Cuba.

The president’s trip was a success… at appeasing liberals. But the trip also opened Pandora’s box with a country whose communist government still looks at the US as an enemy.

On Monday the truth came out about how they really feel about Obama and the United States. The Foreign Minister of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez, flat out called Obama’s trip “an attack on the foundation of our history, our culture and our symbols.”

“Obama came here to dazzle the non-state sector, as if he wasn’t the representative of big corporations but the defender of hot dog vendors, of small businesses in the United States, which he isn’t,” said the Foreign Minister.

Ouch, “defender of hot dog vendors,” that’s a new one. This is all on the heels of Cuba’s leader Raul Castro’s comments when he called the United States the “enemy”.

It doesn’t look like the new friendly relationship that Obama wanted is not going to happen. It’s sad, because he has tried so hard to make the world like us, but it isn’t working.

First it was Iraq where Obama pulled out all the troops and created the space for ISIS to come in and take over.

Next it was Russia, but then they took over Crimea and part of the Ukraine. That didn’t work out too well.

Obama really wanted to befriend the Iranians and created a wonderful deal that helped Iran get to a nuke and make billions of dollars. That almost worked, but before the deal was signed they started testing new rockets. By the way, people in the street shout “Death To America” almost every day

Obama was running out of countries to befriend overseas so he tried Cuba, a little closer to home. Although he thought it might work, it didn’t. They still view us as their enemy and now we just send them more money.

What is next? Where does Obama go next to make relationships worse? North Korea?

How do you think Obama’s foreign policy is working? Let us know in the comments.
