Media Already Covering Up Dem’s Election-Rigging Bombshell

DNC Convention
How deep does the rabbit hole go?

Yesterday, former Acting Democratic Party chair, Donna Brazile, made a bombshell claim: she had conclusive proof that Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National colluded to rig the 2016 Democratic primary.

But the media is already doing their best to strangle the story: not a single major network newscast, on ABC, NBC, or CBS’s evening news, even mentioned the scandal.

Brazile took over as the head of the party after her predecessor, Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-Florida), was forced to resign after an email scandal.

Almost immediately, she set out to find out if there was any proof of Hillary Clinton and the DNC colluding to throw the election to Hillary.

She found it.

“I had promised Bernie when I took the helm of the Democratic National Committee after the convention that I would get to the bottom of whether Hillary Clinton’s team had rigged the nomination process, as a cache of emails stolen by Russian hackers and posted online had suggested,” Brazile explained, in an excerpt from her upcoming book. “I’d had my suspicions from the moment I walked in the door of the DNC a month or so earlier, based on the leaked emails. But who knew if some of them might have been forged? I needed to have solid proof, and so did Bernie.”

She continued: “So I followed the money.”

The money led somewhere shocking for Brazile: the revelation that agreement had been signed in August 2015 that gave the Clinton campaign access to the “DNC Victory Fund”–a pot of money that was supposed to go to the eventual nominee.

“When you have an open contest without an incumbent and competitive primaries, the party comes under the candidate’s control only after the nominee is certain,” Brazile explained. She added that Hillary had taken over the fund “nearly a year before she officially had the nomination.”

The problem, of course, was that Hillary Clinton was locked in a competitive primary until June 2016, against Bernie Sanders. For nearly 10 months, Hillary had access to the DNC’s money–even though someone else was closely contesting the nomination.

“If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead,” Brazile explained, “This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party’s integrity.”

But even though Brazile told Sanders that she had, indeed, found hard evidence that the primary had been rigged, they both agreed to keep it quiet–in order to “not kill the patient” by dealing a crippling blow to Clinton’s general election campaign.
