Kevin Spacey Scrubs Online Presence After Allegations Emerge

Hollywood Set
I'd hate to see these Hollywood sets under black lights... Ewww!

As the accusations of sexual assault, and pedophilia pile up against iconic “House of Cards” actor, Kevin Spacey, the Spacey Foundation vanishes from the web.

Kevin Spacey’s philanthropic outlet, the Spacey Foundation, has gone dark. Deleting its twitter account, @KS_Foundation, and seemingly deleting its website. As recent as Thursday, 3:00pm, all traces of the embattled actor’s foundation had disappeared. The deletion of the Foundation came after string of accusations regarding Kevin Spacey’s sexual conduct towards young boys came to light.

the actor Anthony Rapp had told BuzzFeed that when Rapp was 14 years old, Spacey had thrown him on a bed and crawled on top of him. Spacey said that though he did not remember the incident but was “beyond horrified” at the accusation, and that Rapp was owed an apology if this incident ever did happen. Spacey also came out as gay in his own initial statement.

Spacey had founded the nonprofit organization in London in 2010, and then later expanded the foundation to the United States. The foundation’s mission is to provide mentorship and grant opportunities to the “school children, young people and emerging artists in the performing arts and film.” Spacey had held auditions with 1,200 young artists through the foundation by year 2015.

Accusations from men saying that they were targets of his sexual advances when they were teens continued to flood in on Wednesday and Thursday, most recently from a man who had told the Vulture that he had a sexual relationship with Spacey when he was 14 and Spacey was 24. The man had said that he first met Spacey when he was just 12, taking an acting class that Spacey was teaching. Two years later Spacey had tried to rape him.

Other accusation came from a filmmaker who had said that Spacey grabbed his crotch forcefully during a public event, an actor who says Spacey “routinely preyed” on young actors as the creative director of London’s Old Vic Theatre, and a London man who said that Spacey showed him his penis and then tried to get him to touch it. The last incident had happened in 2010, the same year Spacey launched his foundation.

A Spacey representative released another statement on Wednesday saying, “Spacey is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment. No other information is available at this time.”

Spacey’s foundation had also not made any announcement corresponding with its decision to take down the website and the Twitter account.
