When Donald Trump won the election in 2016, he did it despite all of the polls leading had him losing.
Politico had Hillary winning the election in one of their last polls before the election and they were way off.
Now Politico is telling us that former Vice President Joe Biden is leading Trump in the polls, 44 to 37. If there is one thing that we learned during the last election, it is not to trust the polls.
Biden has been spending the last year on a national book tour and is giving strong indication that he might give the White House another run in 2020. Biden lost in 1988 and again in 2008, but the 75-year-old politician from Delaware thinks he might give it one more run.
Biden is just one potential candidate in what could be a large primary for the democrats. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, mega-donor Tom Steyer, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand and even LA Mayor Eric Garcetti are suggesting they are running.
We are 18 months away, but after the midterms in November, the candidates will start making it official and we’ll be off to the races.
