After last weekend’s mass shooting in Las Vegas, ISIS curiously claimed responsibility for the attack—even as U.S. officials denied that there was any proof shooter Stephen Paddock had ties to international terror organizations.
Now, however, a former Trump official is claiming that not only did Paddock have ties to ISIS—but he even made a tape explaining his motives.
James Brower, who worked for the Trump campaign in Massachusetts, tweeted the surprising remarks—writing, “There is a video, the video will prove the motive. HE had a secret digital profile that was uncovered over the last 24 hrs.”
In another tweet, Brower explained, “Motive will be pretty shocking; I won’t say much but it will definitely change a lot of things going forward.”
In an interview with Infowars, Brower doubled down on his video claims.
“I’m being told the video basically speaks about a network, they wouldn’t tell me directly if it was ISIS but they threw little hints that it was,” explained Brower. “The reason the video more than likely [will be] never released is because they believe it will trigger the ‘cells’ he speaks of.”
But even if Americans don’t see the video, Brower claims that the truth will soon come out anyway. “There should be a statement on motive soon,” he said. “They believe he was inspired by ISIS.”
ISIS, which doesn’t have a history of claiming terror attacks they’re not responsible for, has come out three times now, reiterating its contention that that Paddock had joined ISIS—having converted to Islam six months.
