Condoleezza Rice Accused Of “Mansplaining” By Angry Feminists

Condoleezza Rice
"What did you just say to me?"

Can one of the most accomplished women in American history “mansplain” something to other women?

Liberal feminists are accusing former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice of doing just that.

Angela Helm of The Root asked the question: “Is Condi Rice mansplaining the #MeToo movement by saying women shouldn’t turn into ‘snowflakes’?”

During an interview with CNN, Rice said of the so-called #MeToo movement: “Let’s not turn women into snowflakes. Let’s not infantilize women.”

When asked whether she had ever been sexually harassed, Rice said she “certainly” had.

“I’ve never had anyone do anything that I would consider assault,” she clarified. “But I don’t know a woman alive who hasn’t had somebody say or do something that was inappropriate at best and aggressive at worst.”

Rice’s take on #MeToo isn’t outside of the mainstream: a number of pundits have openly questioned whether the anti-sexual assault hysteria actually demeans women by making them into victims.

But, apparently, in the eyes of The Root, a perfectly reasonable opinion from a successful, widely-respected African-American woman is somehow her “mansplaining” to other women.
