One of the most beloved stars in the NBA is now catching some heat for saying he doesn’t believe the moon landing was real.
Stephen Curry, point guard for the Golden State Warriors and one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, is in a little hot water after he mentioned he doesn’t believe that humans have landed on the moon.
During an interview on the “Winging It” podcast, Curry and teammate Andre Iguodala sat down with hosts Vice Carter and Kent Bazemore to discuss basketball, sports and apparently wild conspiracy theories.
During the conversation, the talk shifted to the moon landing and almost all of the people on the podcast agreed that humans have never been to the moon. Curry even said, “They’re gonna come get us. I don’t think so either.”
Bazemore, spoke up and said that, “You gotta do research on Stanley Kubrick.”
For many people that believe the moon landing was faked, they think the legendary filmmaker; Stanley Kubrick was the one who filmed the fake scenes on a sound stage. Some say the fake set is even at Area 51.
Conspiracy theories about the moon landing have been around for a while and Curry isn’t the only person to believe we didn’t go. Some came out on Twitter to defend the NBA champion.
NASA on the other hand, didn’t like the claim and would like to prove Curry wrong. They’ve even invited him to the Johnson Space Center.

Curry isn’t the first and won’t be the last moon landing denier, but he is the best shooter out of all the hoax believers.
